With much of the screen industry hit hard by Covid-19 and in lockdown, the 7th edition of the MCX Screenmakers Conference, Pitch Market, Networking Events and Lab, will be delivered entirely online to give developing creatives access to the rich, interactive pitching, networking, and conference sessions we have planned across two special events.
The Conference and TV Entertainment Format Lab will take place on 10, 11 and 12 September with the 1:1 Pitch Market, Industry Roundtables and ABC TV iview PITCH-O-RAMA pitching competition now taking place one month later over one full day on Friday 8 October. This will give delegates more time to research, prepare and submit projects for the various pitch market opportunities and roundtable networking sessions.
In addition, delegates can sign up for an individual career mentoring session with leading industry professionals which will be scheduled individually.
To give further flexibility and in recognition that our industry is doing it tough, we have made the conference pass extremely accessible at $55, with delegates able to add on other elements at their discretion.
As an added bonus, conference sessions will be available for delegates to stream for one month following the conference.
In the spirit of our mission to support and develop screen practitioners, MCX Screenmakers Conference supports our community by providing a supportive online environment in which to connect with peers, gain industry insights, network and build relationships with professionals and pitch projects to buyers and commissioners in the marketplace.
