As a Springboard PLUS participant, we're excited to offer you a place in the script readthrough program following the main parts of the Springboard Program.
We are inviting you to register to have your short-form script read in our group round table facilitated script read-throughs that will occur on EITHER Saturday 15 OR Sunday 16 May. Specific days cannot be requested as session times will be worked out taking many factors into consideration.
You do not submit your script at this point. This process is to register to be included in the readthrough schedule.
How the sessions work
Each group will have one facilitator, and 4 - 7 PLUS participants at the table. You will only need to attend the day that you are having your script read. You will be notified of your day in advance.
Each participant will get one-hour maximum dedicated to their read-through. In this one-hour you will:
Because there is strictly limited time for each participant, you are encouraged to make sure that your script is UNDER 15 - 20 pages maximum in industry-standard format. The longer it takes to read your script, the shorter time you'll have to gain feedback within your one-hour maximum timeslot.
Notification of timeslots and script distribution process
Exact running times for the days are still to be confirmed as it will depend on the number of registered participants, though it is anticipated each day will run from approximately 9am - 5pm, shorter if there are fewer readthroughs.
We will notify registered participants closer to the date about how scripts will be shared amongst other group members.
Because of the complex co-ordinating needed for such an event, we cannot group specific people together upon request at this stage.
If you are interested in registering your script, click on the I WILL ATTEND button below and complete the fields.
Registration closes Tuesday 20th of April, 5pm.
