In our mission to be more inclusive, we will provide 10 Inclusion Scholarships to the program for people underrepresented in the screen industry, including those who identify as Women, First Nations, Deaf and disabled, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, Neurodiverse, Persons of Colour, LGBTQIA+ and practitioners from regional and remote areas (those who do not live or work within 100km radius of the Adelaide CBD).

Eligibility - Inclusion Scholarship 

• Applicants must be SA residents and 18+
• Applicants must come from an underrepresented community in the screen industry OR be in financial hardship (please note priority will be given to those who come from an underrepresented community)
• Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to a professional career in the screen industry
• Applicants must answer each section in the application form
• Successful applicants need to be a current $95 MCX Member by the time the program commences.

*Please note: Scholarships are competitive and decisions will be made at the discretion of the MCX staff based upon the information provided.

Key dates for scholarship applications:

• Applications open 24 February
• Applications close 9.30am Tuesday 9 March
• Scholarship recipients will be notified Wednesday 10 March

Those applicants not awarded a scholarship will have the option of paying the registration fee. Places will be reserved during the scholarship process.

• How do you believe you meet the criteria of the Inclusivity Scholarship?
• In a paragraph articulate how you have so far demonstrated your commitment to a professional career in the Australian screen industry
• What would this scholarship mean to you?
• What obstacles would stop you from attending Springboard?
